Smart Planner Finds a New Home in Queenstown

A new chapter begins in the heart of our pilot destination
From August 2026, Smart Planner has a new home.
Smart Planner is establishing its head office in Queenstown, New Zealand, marking an important milestone in the company's journey and strengthening its connection with one of the destinations at the heart of its vision for the future of tourism.
Queenstown has always been part of the plan.
As Smart Planner has evolved from an idea into a tourism technology platform, the intention has been to build the company close to the destinations, tourism businesses and communities it aims to support. Establishing our head office in Queenstown brings that vision another step closer to reality.
Our New Home: Mountain Club Queenstown
Smart Planner's Queenstown home will be Mountain Club at Five Mile in Frankton.

Mountain Club is a premium coworking and business community designed to bring together entrepreneurs, professionals, business leaders and organisations from across the Queenstown Lakes region. More than simply a place to work, it provides an environment where ideas, collaboration and meaningful business connections can develop.
For Smart Planner, this makes Mountain Club a natural home.
Being part of the Mountain Club community gives our team an opportunity to build stronger relationships within Queenstown, connect with people shaping the region's future and become an active participant in the local business and tourism ecosystem.

Building Smart Planner From Queenstown
The move also comes at an important time for Smart Planner as we prepare to expand our activities across the Queenstown Lakes region.
Our co-founders see the Queenstown head office as the beginning of a much larger local presence. As Smart Planner grows, the plan is to progressively increase the number of team members based in Queenstown, creating a stronger permanent presence and bringing more of the company's technology, tourism, data and partnership activities into the region.
This local presence will also help Smart Planner work more closely with tourism and hospitality operators, community organisations, destination stakeholders and other businesses interested in exploring how technology can support more sustainable, regenerative and meaningful tourism.
We are looking forward to calling Queenstown home
